If any potential private operators out there thought that they could make profit by running Amtrak they'd jump in with both feet and Uncle Sam would be happy to unload it. I'm surprised not hearing about Musk & Co looking long and hard with their pencil erasers at what the Govt spends to run Amtrak. |
