But look at what happened in Britain after Thatcher got rid of British Rail. Of course, the European Union tried reversing that by having their state-owned "companies" buy a certain number of the nascent resurgent railroads, but the private operators are still holding their own and they have a lot of passenger service with average speeds far exceeding ours.Not to mention, keep your eyes on Brightline. |
