What's in the EEPROM's of your cable modem, your dialup modem, your LTE and pretty much everything else you go intertubing down the river in. That particular sequence came from a TimeWarnerCable modem, one of their Arris models. Others are similar with different addresses and different locations.Ever since noun, verb, 9/11; the authorities want to make sure that you're on your best behavior. And most commercial operating systems also have similar inside. If it's a brand name, "intel" inside. Same for hardware. We came up with KNOS back in 2007 because I got tired of fighting malware on ALL operating systems that there just wasn't any chance of winning because backdoors were built in and the Russkies, the Chinese and even the fucking Turks found and USED. So I went with FreeBSD, found the few spooks inside there, and ripped them the fuck out. That's why all sorts of governments, including the ones who PUT the backdoors in there use KNOS to keep the OTHER guys out. :) Example:  I just don't let other governments that aren't our friends have any. :) |
