Well you know Kevin that yesterday's election in Iraq was a pretty successful one. We hoped six million would turn out; instead over eight million voted. Now is the time for the Europeans to get involved and help train the new Iraqi Army and its police forces. This is at least what they should be doing because if they think terror will escape them they only have to look at Holland and Spain to learn otherwise. Here is a unique opportunity for Europe to volunteer to join America for the betterment of humanity. Either that or be in denial about terror and play the appeasement card again. We saw that didn't work before and it cost us dearly in man and treasure in two world wars. Hopefully things will be different this time around. |
