[The Vietnam era was the beginning of the "If it bleeds, it leads" system of TV news that persists to this day. By 1970 the networks were bringing war in all it's bloody glory into America's living rooms in full color.]Uh, I think that's called Journalism (ie the Edward R.Murrow kind w/balls)....something most reporters have seemed to have forgotten in today's yellow jouralism. |
