I'm not following.Doesn't the US give a dollar for dollar credit for taxes paid to a foreign government? Surely no one would give up their citizenship just to avoid the hassle of hiring a US accountant to do their tax return. As for self-employment tax, if you double pay that don't you earn social security benefits in both countries? |
