We both feel religion has no place in government policy. But that includes a speech where someone quotes Genesis and scripture to try and put out a government policy idea that we have a personal responsibility to do some policy because it's given by God.That, is just as bad as the lunatics on the right that quote fornication or man lying with man to promote their agenda. They are both agendas, and if you are outraged about one, then you should be outraged about the other. Or if you feel it's right for one agenda, then it must be right for the other agenda. Scripture has no place in government mandates, policy, or speeches. And that goes for EITHER side. Again, it doesn't matter if you like the promotion idea of one agenda and not the other, or if you feel its not as bad as another. They are both wrong. |
