Here I was seeing this as his making a point for inclusion, that environmental protection is seated not only in it's science (which is "debated" only by a few RW nut-ball outliers) but in the practice of faith.That's a very different message than "gay marriage should be banned because the bible says xyz". Thee's no science to back that up, and LOTS of evidence to argue the contrary. You obviously not getting this. One has nothing to do with the other. That being said, at least we agree that religion has no place in policymaking. That applies to environmental protection as well. Good thing there's lot of science illustrating the need. |
