There is still the issue of context. But I haven't addressed that. Non-Christian Americans don't celebrate Christmas by eating Chinese food. They simply eat Chinese food on Christmas Day, but tehy would never say they are celebrating Christmas. What's more, even people who celebrate Christmas may eat Chinese food on that day. I've done it. So your analogy to Christmas is faulty. |
