Oh yeah— Neighbors and elected officials have said they thought it would be more cost-effective to open a shelter in a residential building closer to subway lines, service providers and jobs. "Safety" is a cover up for these hypocrites. Hypocrites? You keep assuming they're liberal even though no one has provided any evidence whatsoever that this is actually the case. In fact, whining about "safety" whenever poor people move into a neighborhood is generally associated with the right. |
