At this point, FP received the last two 3600's, 3698 and 3699 from Fifth Ave. plus a few lower 3700's. I never did see 3700 at FP. I think there were a few missing buses from the mid 3700's that came from XT. I no longer have my B53 list from the 70's otherwise I would be able to tweak the roster.At FLU, some time after the 7500's arrived, they were transferred out, some if not all went to FP. I believe it was Sen. Leonard P. Stavisky who I saw on the TV news speaking out wondering where Flushing's new buses had disappeared to. I knew they went to FP. I remember 3601-3659 at Manhattan but I somehow thought they were there earlier. BTW, If 7500-7659 were delivered with batwings as originally planned, would every depot still would have received them? |

From every roster I've posted, all numbers were consecutive. No individual buses were missing numerically.Of course, there had to be some unrepairable due to fires and wrecks. Not until we get into the RTS era will you see missing numbers. |

Awsome breakdown by division but there are a few things missing. There were a few 6xxxs running around at least in Brooklyn. Plus there were 9000 flxs running especially out of Ulmer Park. As well as in Manhattan. I certainly do not remember 3100s in Gleason at that time, rather a load of 3400s. This is a lot fun looking at though. Werent there more Blitzes in Manhattan? The 5000s? More 5200s? |

The RUNS are interlined, not the TRIPS. For example, a run could have its first half on the B6 and its second half on the B64. However, a B64 bus arriving at 25th & Harway doesn't just turn the corner, go down a block to Bay 37th Street, and become a B6.David |

That pretty much reflects how things were when I departed NYC at the end of August that year. Glad to see that my personal favorite TDH-5303 (3873) was still in service at that juncture (shortly before I left, I remember seeing a 3800 on the old B47, at Empire Blvd & Rogers Ave, IIRC, still in its original green livery, but with the new Blue/Red signs. That looked cool to me for some reason. |

I just read yesterday in their brochure that the B1 doesnt go there anymore. Anyway Ulmer had a few 1977 Flxs. I recall 9224 to maybe 9229 and a some numbers like 9007, 9008. perhaps there were more but I don't remember, at the same time I don't recall the 9200s in the 30s or 40s. They were nice and clean buses, liked them a lot. there were also a few 6000s and 6200s in Gleason. I remember 6045, 6047, 6049, 6085. Somewhere I wrote down the 6200 number buses in Gleason and Flatbush plus 6300s. #6400 was in Gleason, a 1971 5305, ex 4400. |
