"It is virtually unheard of for modern management to engage in unlawful violence and, for the most part, replacement workers are looking only to complete the jobs to which they were assigned. Virtually all unlawful violence in these types of disagreements is brought on by striking union members"

Obviously you weren't around or really knew anything about the Greyhound strike in 1990. I do, and quite well. I worked for another private carrier at the time and spent MORE time on the Albany picket line than most striking union drivers. Greyhound used whatever tactics they needed to get the "replacement workers" scabs thru the picket lines, including hitting striking line walkers, myself included.I spent an evening in Albany Medical Center's ER because as the scab put it, "We were told to go thru the line or we'd get fired".
So please don't sit there and say it's the Union Drivers who promote violence. I know of a striking driver killed by a SCAB who didn't stop for a picket line. The gall of Shitline to hire out SCABS is outragous. I went back and loked at the ad on Craigs List. If you want to review it, go to Craigs List, St.Louis, Missouri, and type in BUS in the top search box and you'll see that this was well planned by SHITLINE because the ads were placed, get this, MAY 2, 2008. So, do you really think striking drivers promote violence? Think again! I know, let's place ad's in National Online Forums asking to hire people to take away drivers jobs, a month in advance, the drivers won't care! Come on, really now!
