As pointed out before, there was little or no confusion possible between Brooklyn and Queens route numbers. The only two shared numbers that touched one another were the B53 on Metropolitan Ave. and the Q53 on Woodhaven Blvd. - and the Q53 didn't even stop at that intersection. Plus the buses were of different colors since the Queens route was a Triboro bus.
