The Third Avenue bus returns southbound on Lexington Avenue. That constitutes a transfer point. Maybe no one living on Park Avenue uses buses, but if you need one of the numbered streets you now have to walk extra. The amount of time the buses save by skipping Park Avenue is negligible and people were inconvenienced by having to walk longer. I didn't consider that a smart move. |
