Lex Av at 34 St was still a bus transfer point.To what, tumbleweeds? The subway (which is probably the trip generator) is at Park Av South. Any transfers are a short walk away for those who need the Third Av buses, and express bus riders are probably walking from their workplaces directly to that stop. Crosstown buses on the Upper East Side skip Park Av, it's not unprecedented. |
