I know, I've been there, check out my earlier posts. I don't enforce the fare, but simply requesting the fare is enough to set one off. How do you avoid a confrontation if someone wants a transfer you can't issue. Again check my previous posts. I have not been trained by the MTA to avoid confrontation and assess situations. The NYPD trained me in conflict resolution and "verbal judo". Liberty Lines & the NYPD taught me to assess situations and how to react and when not to react, but still I found myself in a similar situation, I was lucky she wasn't armed, and the BCC didn't call the police. The MTA is part of the problem not the cure. |
