How do you avoid a confrontation if someone wants a transfer you can't issue.Not the answer that MTA likes to hear, but: issue the transfer. MTA knows which routes have fare enforcement issues, and they do little or nothing about it. The particular route involved had a lot of problems. And it's not the only one.... Ultimately, is transit losing $2 worth someone getting hurt or killed, if transit is unwilling to do anything about the broad problem? |
