Our job is not enforce the fare, but to request it. If not and a spotter observes you not requesting the fare when it is not paid will issue a violation and find us in non-compliance. This perp not only got a free ride w/o arguement, but requested a transfer when exiting afetr a free ride and the bus operator said no. The perp exited the bus then quickly reboarded and stabbed the B/O to death. The B/O did nothing wrong and did not attempt to enforce the fare. The only thing he wrong was show up to work that day. |
