I think that should apply to all gun owners. When they discover that they and their immediate family are at greatest risk in having the thing in the house, they might think twice or at minimum handle it differently than they otherwise would have.They should also be required to demonstrate basic competency in shooting the thing. During the education process a complete background check (already determined to be legal) could be done. None of this is in conflict with anyone's rights, even a small majority of NRA *members* (not their nutty executive board and lobbyists) agree. |
