False. I have seen at least one of the 6 railfans recently in trouble for the two major incidents (train moving and rollsign stealing) being let into a non-public area of the system by someone who I assume is an employee or retiree. So don't tell me that these kids don't still have friends in the system. It seems highly likely that they do still have a friend or friends who work or have access to non-public parts of the subway system.

Of course, the employee may not have actually has the "authority" to allow him into that area, but that doesn't really matter. The employee is part of NYCT, and thus it is his fault if he lets someone like Steven into a cab or some similar place.
