The Arrow IV should come out of a competition between the M-8 and the Silverliner V and whatever Denver orders (likely an FRA compliant version of the Siemens Desiro). |

Not to mention, I hope you're aware that the oldest ALP-44s are 20 years old while the newest are a mere 14 years old, and they're all getting retired?? If true, that's dumb. NJT is obsessed with getting every single one of it's trains into Manhattan, which I think is overkill. While most passengers might want to go to Midtown, there's just not enough demand to fill every seat on all the trains they want to route into the ARC tunnels. |
