But it's a soap opera that I've been following for some time now. It looks like the subplot of whether or not Terrapin Station's camera was ever to be returned has been written out of the story and the camera has been returned to it's rightful owner. Maybe it's just me, but I get a kick outta Nilet taking pictures of cops that tell him that he can't take pictures. I wish that I had his cojones like his. |

Maybe it's just me, but I get a kick outta Nilet taking pictures of cops that tell him that he can't take pictures. Actually, I didn't take pictures of them. :( I recorded myself saying their badge numbers (which may have been why they erased everything), but I never took any specific pictures of them. As a result of that incident, though, I always record the entirety of any encounter with a cop. I tried to upload one of those vids to post here, but Photobucket coughed on it and it never showed up. Maybe I'll try again... |

I don't know if that would be a good idea for me, but if it works for you that's cool. You seem to have a lot of minor "incidents" while taking pictures. Why do you think that is? Could be because I don't stop taking pics when an MTA worker tells me to, leading to them calling the cops more.I'm guessing that it's some combination of these two. For some reason I was under the impression that the NYC area was more friendly to transit photographers than LA, but I don't think so anymore. It's probably been almost a year since anyone told me that I couldn't take transit pictures in LA. And that was just a security guard so I ignored his advice. |

I guess that all depends on what kind of a steward they are with their riches.Jesus also said "Take that money from him, and give it to the one with ten." What was that part that he said about the rich Brother? You mean stuff like "But woe unto you that are rich, for ye have received your consolation" (Luke 6:24)? Of course, there's that parable about Lazarus the beggar and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). Of course, riches themselves aren't the sin, but miserliness and avarice. King Solomon certainly didn't live like a pauper, although he originally was humble enough to ask for wisdom instead of riches (as in 1 Kings chapter 3); he went a bit out of control and spent double the amount on his own palace than on the temple of God in Jerusalem, though. |
