It was a place to set out bad order cars as you probably saw in the next image. Just a little bit further down the rails was the old Kingsbridge freight yard (which is where the JFK educational complex is today) and it was a fast move after traffic to move things there to the yard if needed. Kind of the last chance to get bad order equipment off the railroad before the ladders into GCT and much higher traffic "south" of there. |

I do but only where there are Superliners and other types of hilevel cars (like Gallery, etc). It's pretty cool to have the entrance/exit on the lower level.High platforms are good if you are intending to eventually subway-ize your railroads. |
