It's a shame that such a classic station was allowed to deteriorate to such an extent, and remain that way for 60 years.Late evenings in 1954-55 I would occasionally see a string of gate cars on that same track. Most of them would be dark. I often wondered if that was some type of relay point between CI and FPY. |
