It is my understanding that the N/B track was removed from service after heavy storm damage in 1959 or 1960. It was also at that time the TA killed off through service from the Mainline BMT to Ditmas.No doubt this is what they WANTED to do- isolate and eventually destroy the line. But that's my understanding of the timeline and events. |
