I can tell you that the R-10's did have at least a full amount of route and destination readings for the BMT Division for the *side* boxes. Many, many years ago at a Transit Museum auction/garage sale, I purchased from there two R-10 BMT Division side route roll signs at $50 each. Upon inspecting each of the rolls, I had noticed some dirt wear & tear around the "B'way-Jamaica Exp." and "B'way-Jamaica Lcl." area.

The R-10's purchased and delivered as new in the late-1940's were capable of running on either the IND or BMT. One poster on this forum said he had seen a photo of newly delivered car #3000 that sported each a BMT Division front route and destination sign. As for the R-16's, I recall seeing front and side roll signs for the BMT at first for the Eastern Division only, but then with later attachment for the Southern Division's Brighton and 4th Avenue lines.
