I have no clue about what most of you are speaking about when it comes to all the letter designations used here. I am not really suggesting that any cars other than what the MTA would normally use be substituted. I merely said that if these cars are ragged, and there is some other alternative, etc. and so forth. I recall photos of old LIRR cars on the Staten Island line. Isn't there something that can be used? I know ho old my suggestions were. I am just wondering what's out there. And just how much money are they gonna save? Is SI part of the system or not? Whose idea is it to save money this way? WTF already?
