But if there is an evident danger to the safety of the passengers and crew, they would not make such a call!! And it is the conductor's responsibility to act in the safety and well being of the passengers and the crew, and if a safety issue of increasing danger to well being exists, I am within my duty per rules, not to move the train (in rule book parlance, "the safest course must always be taken"!!)And I really do not think at all the RTC would be ready to do an on-the-air "good faith challenge"!! lol |
