True, but sometimes the RTC on duty will order you to leave 125 & promise you that you'll be met by MTA's finest at GCT & your situation will be dealt with there. "We won't tie up the whole railroad & make others late". Their attitude is get the train to GCT`so there isn't a backup waiting for a cop to show up at 125 for a farebeater or any other trouble makin asshole. Bottom line, the bad guy gets a free ride or no handcuffs.But yet, if there is an "operative" or some other spotter to check up on your work ethic as far as collecting fares is concerned & they see you miss someone, you'll get called on the carpet to explain yourself. Just another hypocritical double standard we have to deal with |
