In the early '80's there was a "Series" speed sign leaving QBP s/b (2 points of power; +/- 15 mph). Speed signs are basically the "honor system;" signals enforce the speed restriction.If there are now timers southbound (post-dates my experience), they are probably just for the tightness of the curve (as at Alabama Ave on the J in both directions), not for structural issues. |
