Years ago there were no timers on the Flushilg line between QP & Court House Sq. Trains used to fly around the curve just before the 45th rd CHS sta enroute to Manhattan. With the timers installed, it seems like a crawl nowadays by comparison. My guess is that was a "structure duribility" issue a/c the heavier R62a's in service there and the age of the structure at that point |
