Posted by South Brooklyn Railway on Thu Mar 4 23:45:15 2010, in response to R44 SIRTOA CARS TO BE SCRAPPED, posted by Vacuum Tube on Sun Feb 28 11:08:36 2010. Just spoke to sources and the SMS rebuilding program has stopped for the SIRT cars, TA say it's not worth it to rebuild them anymore, word has been going around that it will be either R46, R68, or any N.T.T. will be headed over there in the very near future.
