I remember as a kid waitin for the GG local at 65th st sta & seeing a new set of r27's on the RR that reciently bumped the standards off that line & the glare of the flourescent lights amongst the dim incandecent platform lights & arnines that ruled that territory at the time was indeed a shock to the optic nerve.Could never figure out why the r27's did'nt "growl" when accelerating like the arnines did. As a kid I asked that question & nobody knew. |
