How do you expect Eddington to be overhauled . . . ? They can't remove that active freight siding, so they can't build any high platforms, never mind upgrade low platforms or install mini-highs. SEPTA won't be too pushed to rebuild their stations on a line owned by Amtrak, besides.(If anything, the eastbound platform was always a gravel platform. It's not "years of grime, dirt and gravel"—that was the original condition.) |
