Because, as should have been clear, I wanted to show a picture of trolley wire hangers that would interfere with pantographs, and that was the first picture I came upon.

No. As I think I made clear, not all of the North Shore had catenary. Some was simple trolley wire.

In trolley wire, the contact wire sags between hagers. In catenary, the messenger wire sags, and the contact wire is intended to be level.
