These people paid less for their residential property because of where it's located, i.e., next to a train yard. They now want LIRR to increase the cost of their residential property by improving its location. If they want that, let them pay due consideration.I hear these sob stories more and more nowadays when it becomes clear that these people were bamboozled by PR and paid more than reasonable value for their property, from these 'pioneers' who, e.g., moved next to Gowanus Canal then complain about the smell, move next to a train yard in LIC and then complain about trains, move to an industrial area and complain that there aren't supermarkets, etc. |
