They have 1 of those Subway Series cars at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine: R33 9327.I agree. If they really wanted to save a redbird set, one pair of the Subway Series Special set should've been kept for Nostalgic purposes. IMO, I would've kept 9394-9395. They were in far better shape than 9712-9713 were in. Also, as 9394's front wrap was for the NY Mets, as in this picture below by Salaam Allah, 9395 could've had a Yankees Wrap on its front:  Now they're living under the sea with Spongebob Squarepants..so we could only dream. |
