It actually makes some sense ... to most of the younger folks, those were the trains of their childhood much like the old steels were to us.Depends on what TOMC cars is in question. If we're talking about the R-12/15/17 and 33S, then I'm all for that. Those are the true 'Museum' cars. OTOH the repainted Rebirds are just there for more passenger capacity. Their faded yet inaccurate colors along with their radically changed interiors don't do it for me. I agree with BMT Lines, the older equipment, the better. That's where the real history is.
