It is 1915. On page 75 of Vincent Seyfried's book, "The History Of Woodhaven & Ozone Park", the opening date for the whole section is given as September 25th, 1915. It also has the opening date of the section of the Jamaica Ave. el from 111th St. west as May 28th, 1917. Other sources indicate March 1918. I'm not sure which is correct, although this book provides specific ridership data from each Woodhaven station in 1917, so i'm inclined to believe this book. |
