The R-1-9 cars look great in the traditional Green with "Ciyt of New York" in gold. The one exception being 1575. The R-10 scheme helps tell the story of the car and its rebuilding.As far as the Blue Stripe Scheme was concerned, it looks good when clean, but lousy when dirty or graffitied. My favorite schemes: R-1-9 Pullman Green R-10-12-14 Two tone Gray w/ Orange Stripe R-15...R-36ML Pullman Green or Redbird R-33-36WF Worlds Fair Scheme All Stainless Steel Cars - Blue Stripe (anything but plain stainless - the ad blocks on the R-62s look fine) |
