The connection would be difficult now because
it involved the original ROW for the subway.

That's my point - as the subway was operating then, lower level GCT was supposed to be able to punch out to an extension southward, which was not actually built. The upper level was stub-end.

Thus my belief that the so called Belmont connection didn't exist.
