Let's see. SIR has what, 36 cars? Something like 9 4-car units. How much of that could have been allocated from the original huge order of those 160's? I mean, new equipment along with additional ridership will only bring more riders. Then you could actually make some money from the system. Still, there must be 36 cars somewhere in the vast MTA system that could be used on SIR. No? |
