You misread Russ:The old shuttle would be revived to cover the rush hours, and that would be the only time that would be used (the 5/6 would be more than sufficient otherwise). As for the 6 going to BG/SF late nights, that would only add 3-4 stops to that line (and the 6 used to go to SF at one time as I remember) and more importantly would double service to lower Manhattan to those who go to Fulton, Wall or Bowling Green at that time even if the 6 were to terminate at BG as the 5 does during non-rush hours. |
