I also notice that at a time when LIRR is hiring conductors and engineersSome LIRR HR reps were at my community college's career fair looking for employees. Apparently, by showing them a resume, I'm on an absurdly long list of applicants for the assistant conductors position. It's highly unlikely that I'd get the job since I'm unwilling to put up with the unpaid training. Plus, the scheduling interferes with school, and there's no way I could pass the physical... |
