For some reason, TA management wants to keep the Slattery Plaza name. They could easily have tiled over it a few years back when Woodhaven Blvd station got a facelift (new tiles, lighting, et al), but they left the tablets as is.I guess its no more inaccurate than having a station called Van Wyck Boulevard, a roadway that hasn't existed in over a half-century. |
