I find the IND naming conventions in Queens to be interesting.Just a quick question - just how many folks today can find (without looking at a map) the station called without looking at a map, "Hudson Terminal"? In Brooklyn, on the Fulton Line, many of the station names reflect where the entrances to the stations were originally, and not where in some cases they are now. However that is not unique to Brooklyn - is there NOW a current extrance or exit ON West 4th Street? Just a note, Mike |
