When I transferred from the A Division to the B Division, I received my training schedule for school car, which lists the reporting locations for each day of training. One morning had us reporting to "71 St. - Continental Av.". I knew what they were referring to, because I live in the area. Others in my class were pouring over a subway map, looking for that station, but couldn't find it, because on the map, it's called Forest Hills - 71 Avenue. They were like, "Where's 71st Street??" |
