And the designs of car classes somewhat reflect the decade in which they were made. The R-15s were very 1950s with the porthole windows and exterior paint scheme, the R-44s & R-46s with the fake wood, tan walls, and shades of orange seats reek of the 70s, and the R-62s & R-68s are reminiscent of the 80s with the stainless steel mirror interiors. Even the R-142s - R-160s represent the high-tech information era of today with all of their features, white & light blue-gray interiors, and that rippled stainless steel at the car ends (on most R-160s). |
