Trust me. The area is becoming less and less attractive for aging beatniks and punksters. (Although it's fun to hang out with them at the kid's playground)

Now people come to the Second Ave. stop to shop at Whole Foods. It's already Disneyland. I couldn't have imagined that fifteen years ago.

With exits at 12th St. and 3rd St., I don't think a St. Mark's Pl. station will be necessary.
