They propose turning the F train where the oramge Q and B used to turn prior to completion of the Connector. 21 St has a crossover for that purpose.It's a good idea and the tunnel does have excess capacity, though turning a train takes more time than merely running through. Still, perhaps the Q could be extended, at least during non-rush hours (yes, I know that's not what they are asking for, but it's a place to start and better than nothing). |
